Emerald

Emeralds are the green variety of beryl whose typical color is a beautiful, distinctive hue known as “emerald green”. Among the most highly valued gemstones, they can be light or dark green, bright green or leaf green. Emeralds are rarely flawless. It is the birthstone for the month of May.
